Xinjiang Red Rose Restaurant

As the most famous Xinjiang restaurant in Beijing, Xinjiang Red Rose Restaurant is well-known for its authentic Xinjiang Halal cuisine. Located in an extending alley, the restaurant is in a small yard with a quite unique house. This restaurant is not very large, but it has a big stage on which performances will be held every night. There are live shows at night played by a Uyghur band and belly dancers with snacks!  What’ more, it was voted as "Best Xinjiang" in the Beijinger’s2010 Restaurant Awards.

There is a wide variety on the menu to choose from and the lamb skewers is the most  favorite among those dishes at the restaurant. Kebabs and mutton taste good, the meat is very tender and tasty. The Hodgepodge is made of bell peppers, potatoes, onions, and canola. Tomatoes hodgepodge tastes sweet and sour which is definitely the characteristics of Xinjiang cuisine.
