When we go to 100 metres western from the center of Xi'an- the Bell Tower, through the drum bell door and then get into the Hui history block. There are almost 10 mosques of different sizes from different dynasties. Approximately 2,000 Muslim people live there, maintaining the original religious habits. This is the existing Chinese Lane mosques in the earliest -the famous North gate" Food Street". The Xi'an Chenghuang Temple among the three biggest Chinese Chenghuang Temple in the district, with mainly han and hui nationalities and others living there, showing the multicultural atmosphere and unique history.
