The annual Nadaam Festival held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia had its official opening ceremony on 23 July, 2016. The Nadaam Festival is the most important festival of the year to celebrate the harvest. The festival is filled with traditional activities such as wrestling, horse racing and archery. The event has been held since 1990 to boost tourism in Inner Mongolia.
