The Managing Director of Century Holiday International Group Mr. James Liang attended IAGTO’s inaugural Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) which took place from 22-25 April at The Mines Resort & Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is the first IAGTO convention held in Asia. As a member of IAGTO, Century Holiday attempts to wok together with golf tour operators companies in 38 countries and tourist board delegates from 140 companies representing 16 countries across the Asia Pacific region.
IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) is the global trade organisation for the golf tourism industry. Established in 1997, IAGTO's membership now comprises 1926 accredited golf tour operators, golf resorts, hotels, golf courses, receptive operators, airlines, tourist boards, approved media and business partners in 90 countries including, at its core, 452 specialist golf tour operators in 58 countries. It is estimated that IAGTO’s operators control over 85% of golf holiday packages sold worldwide and turnover more than €1 billion per year.
