This year the Nanjing International Plum Blossom Festival was launched early due to the early blossoming of the plum blossoms. Plum blossoms can be seen at Nanjing Plum Blossom Mountain where there are over 35,000 plum blossoms tress and 120 different species. Plum blossoms can also be found at Hangzhou Chaoshan Scenic Area and other cities of the Jiangnan region.
