Our guide will pick you up at the airport and then transfer you to Beijing West Railway Station for train to Hohhot. You will take Train No. K89 with soft-sleeper which leaves at 10:15PM and arrives in Hohhot at 7:10AM the next morning. Our Hohhot local guide will meet you at the train station and transfer you directly to the hotel for check in.

Hohhot

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and then we will start a whole day’s wonderful tour at Gegentala Grassland. Gengentala means “Summer Resort” in Mongolian language. It is one of the most famous and popular grasslands in Hohhot. Featured with spectacular grassland scenery and distinctive Mongolian recreations, rituals and festivals, Gegentatla Grassland is a wonderful destination to enjoy the unique scenery of grassland and experience Mongolian life and culture.

Visitors traveling to Gegentatla Grassland are bound to have ultimate fun with Mongolian-styled recreations. You can take horse-riding, camel-riding, archery, wrestling and so on. Also you will have chances to taste local authentic delicious food.

During this trip, we will provide you chance for Horse-racing and Equestrian.

This morning we will have to get up earlier so that we would catch the most beautiful scenery of sunrise on the grassland.

Next our guide will transfer you to visit Resonant Sand Gorge. Resonant Sand Gorge means "the desert with horns" in Mongolian. It is located in the east side of Kubuqi Desert. Resonant Sand Gorge is in a crescent shape with gold color. Featured by spectacular desert landscape and the amazing whispering sand dunes, Resonant Sand Gorge attracts numerous tourists here to explore its uniqueness. In the conditions of the dry climate, people will hear sounds like a bugle and drumbeat in the sand if they surf along the slopes of the dunes. This is would be an extraordinary experience for you.

Then our guide will transfer you back to the hotel.

Hohhot to Beijing

After breakfast in the hotel, our guide will bring you to visit Inner Mongolia Museum. It is a regional museum located in the city center of Hohhot. Founded on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 1957, the Inner Mogolia Museum is a great place to get to know the history and culture of Mongolian people.

Next we will move to Jiangjun Yashu. The site Jiangjun Yashu was built as residence for generals of the Suiyuan City in Qing Dynasty. This historical relic still remains its original architectures and has become a famous historical site in Hohhot.

Afterward, our guide will transfer you to the railway station for train back to Beijing.
