    This morning, you will visit the Thatched Cottage Of Du Fu which is an idyllic 24-acre park and museum in honour of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu at the western outskirts of Chengdu. Then proceed to visit Jinli Street which is a winding cobblestone lane lined with replicas of Qing Dynasty mansions selling local tea, books, souvenirs, musical instruments and caricatures. 

    After lunch, you will continue to visit Wenshu Monastery, a monastery which dates back to the Tang dynasty, is Chengdu's largest and best preserved Buddhist temple. Then return to your hotel for a good rest.

    After breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Ya'an Bifengxia Panda Protection Base, it is China's Giant Panda Protection and Research Center in Yaan Bifengxia which is about 150 kilometers away from Chengdu. Bifengxia Panda Base is the largest giant Panda park in the world and the best place to see Pandas in the natural environment. There are a total of 155 pandas in the base.
