Beijing Wangfujing Pedestrian Street will be extended northward for 344 meters this year. The construction of the new businesses along the street will also begin, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019. The 548-meter long Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, as part of the 1,818-meter Wangfujing Street, will be 892 meters long after the extension work.
